My name is Mark Radden,
I pretty much skate mental,
I am of the species they call human,
I have a passion for all things and people skateboard related,
I am 23 years of age,
I have been skateboarding for about nine, nearly ten years now,
So far nothings faded me yet.
Twenty years of Guineueta skatepark and next year is the 10th anniversary of the corner me and my friend Dany built… Barcelona didn’t have any skateparks, everything was shit and we needed to build something to skate a real one… that was the idea of building that D.I.Y.
After the ULTRABOWL IV in Malmö, Sweden, a few different skate tours were underway across Europe, and the first stop on the way to “mainland” Europe is through Copenhagen. There are at least three sick skate spots in Copenhagen, one of which is the semi new Faelledparken skatepark where they had the Copenhagen Pro the last two years. The main two tours that Confusion ran into were LIFEBLOOD skateboards and the INDEPENDENT Trucks, but in addition there were a couple renegade tours passing through…

Here is a short clip of my three-exhibition Tour in germany this summer. We edited it in one day at Confusion Magazine headquarters in Köln.
It was filmed by Piper, Sergej Vutuc, Jonathan Hay and myself on fairly simple cameras. A very low budget production but really high in fun, liebe and other vitamin-rich ingredients. – Fernando Elvira
The old Lohseramp was the only real ramp in all of Cologne, Germany, but when it ended up starting to rot after many winters and derelict kids starting fires under the transition, the city finally shut down the ramp and the locals took it apart and salvaged some of the masonite, for a possible future project.
So we made another skate trip this summer, to the Basque Country! We stayed each night at the beach or near the skatepark and prepared our meals with a barbeque or a gas cooker. When we arrived in Bilbao we just picked up our rental car and directly headed to the first spot, it was an awesome obstacle park in the center of Bilbao with a huge halfpipe and a miniramp with a hip…
Organized by Wasted Box skateshop and the North Brigade Skatepark, this coming Saturday, September 8th, the second annual C1RCA BOWL OWL CONTEST 2012 takes place in the Owl Bowl at the Northbrigade. “We live in a small country, we crossed through nother economic crisis, our politicians do not know how to spend our money. We thought the following: let us take it that nobody wants to do what we want. In Leiria there are no shortage of places to skate. We have a skatepark, a beautiful square full of marble curbs, a half dozen street spots and a mini ramp in the woods. But Ceramica is where we feel good. Far from everything and everyone, here we have the freedom and tranquility for a few beers, barbecues , creating concrete ramps without scooters, rollers and bmxers to cross our path. Do it yourself, fuck the rest.
Ultrabowl 4. Concrete skateboard madness. 40+ rippers from around the world. Brad McClain continued his Scandinavian pro contest sweep with the win. Malmö local Fernando Bramsmark took 2nd. And Kevin Kowalski, last years winner took home 3rd place and a broken rib.
