Slough Side DIY – Somewhere, Northern California

“Just wanted to submit some images and reach out for support. We got a pretty good spot going in XxXxXxX, CA. Trying to keep it as underground as possible while building as much as we can while we can. Any info on the ones who would be down to contribute would be greatly appreciated, it all helps.

Project OTRO. Vassivière, France

On a road that leads nowhere but here to Limousin, far away from the roads to southern France or the ones that lead to the mountains of the alps.
A long time project named OTRO is about to be built.

Chez Claude DIY – Toulouse, France

Our story is, I think, a great classic! Everything began two years ago, in lack of any curves in our city we decided to take our fate in our own hands and build our own spot! For that it was necessary for us to find a good place, a few kilometers later, an old caterpillar factory in the outskirts of the city would make for a good chill spot. We had the place we would start the “Chez Claude” adventure.

Pipeline Reunion – Badlands Bash in Upland, California

Words could not describe the amazing skating that went down at Upland Skatepark celebrated by the Hoffman Family and the 35th anniversary of the Pipeline with their “Badlands Bash”. Dave Duncan was on the mic, but Salba was running the show.

Skaters included legends: Salba, Malba, Tony Hawk, Lance Mountain, Mike McGill, Steve Caballero, Eddie Elguera, Christian Hosoi, Sergie Ventura, and Jay Adams. Lots of up and coming sons of Badlanders including Frankie Fernandez, Kevin Burke and Tristan Rennie held it down and insured the Badlands are in good hands for generations to come.

New Concrete: Eitorf, Germany

In progress: In the small town of Eitorf, outside of Siegburg, which is about 20 minutes from Köln, Germany is a fairly decent sized skatepark being built by Minus Pools.

GREAT DESERT POOL DUEL – Palmdale, California

Normally I hate skate contests. In California most skate contests are held in skate parks. While the terrain in California skate parks may be ok, skate parks seem to only exist to keep skateboarders concentrated in one area so to make it easier city officials to keep an eye on skateboarders. Add to the mix too many people, pad nannies, fences, and the like, I prefer to keep as far away from contests as possible.
