Zarosh just sent me an update from his Cachagua Land DIY Project, deep in the Carmel Valley, 30 miles inland (as the vulture flies) from the California Coast.
“The pool is ready, we just need some concrete. Donate to cachagua land and support the idea of grass roots skateboarding”
Each donation of $100 or more gets a hand printed Cachagua Land deck.
Each donation of $50 gets a silkscreened Cachagua Land shirt.
Each 80lb bag of concrete costs $5.00.
Donate to cachagua land on the Platipus site!
Donate and clear your karma for all those years you’ve been freeloading.

Hi my name’s Cameron I live in Oceanside Ca and I’m a hard rock miner and a life long skater. I’ve worked construction and concrete and demolition and now I break rocks for a living….kinda like a convict but with dynamite. Long sstory short I’ve always wanted to experience and learn the art of building transitions and bowls and I’d love to volunteer a week of my body and mind to help your project. Anything I don’t know I’m not scared to ask and learn, I don’t tucker out easily, I love being the first on the job and the last to leave and I also have a bunch of dumb muscle if you just want a guy carrying bags of mix all day. Please let me know if I have a place to help because I unfortunately cannot donate cash right now but I can donate some time.
Thank you, Cameron Mertes(760)783-8115
